David Nebel

“Child prodigy with promising perspective” (“Wunderkind mit Zukunftsperspektive”) was the headline of an article in the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ of January 31, 2006) describing David’s first solo concert with the Camerata Zürich orchestra. At the time, he was 9 years old and played Vivaldi’s Four Seasons (the Spring) with “high musicality and stunning technique.”

David started to play violin at the age of five. At many recitals, his extraordinary technical talent and musicality became apparent very early.

David has given several concerts in Vienna, Beijing and Shanghai (as a member of the LGT Young Soloists), in Hong Kong (at the MedArt charity event) and on the MS Europa 2 cruise ship. Further overseas concert tours are currently in the planning stages.

David is playing a Gennaro Gagliano violin (Napoli, 18th century) and also performed on the Stradivari “Helvetica” (1686).
