Is music your passion? Are you a gifted violinist, or do you show exceptional talent on the viola, cello or double bass? Then why not apply now to become a member of the LGT Young Soloists? We always welcome applications from outstanding string players aged 12 to 21 to join our orchestra.

As a member of the LGT Young Soloists, you will benefit from a truly special kind of support and encouragement. As both a soloist and part of an ensemble, you will receive intensive training, develop extensive playing experience and discover the many facets of life as a musician while performing concerts all over the world.

Application process

To apply to join the LGT Young Soloists, you will need to complete the form below and attach a personal statement along with a CV and a photograph. Please also provide links to three unedited videos of you playing pieces from a baroque period, from a classical or romantic period as well as one virtuoso piece. If we are impressed with your application, you will be invited to a live audition with our artistic director Alexander Gilman.
