The LGT Young Soloists had a guest performance at the awe-inspiring China Art Museum in Shanghai to mark the opening of the “Rubens, van Dyck and the Flemish School of Painting” exhibition. The musicians played pieces by Boccherini, Haydn, Sarasate and Strauss on valuable violins made by Antonio Stradivari and kindly made available for the occasion by Florian Leonhard Fine Violins.

Members of the LGT Young Soloists played their way to seven first and two second prizes at national and international competitions within the space of just two weeks.
David Nebel won second prize in the prestigious Valsesia Musica International Violin Competition, in which he was the youngest finalist.
He, along with Leo Esselson, also claimed first prize in the Karl Adler competition in Stuttgart.
Sisters Camille and Julie Berthollet each received first prizes for their performances in the “Talents for Europe Violin Competition” as well as winning further gold awards in the Swiss Youth Music Competition. Last but not least, Constanze Müller was also awarded first prize in the Swiss Youth Music Competition. Congratulations to all the LGT Young Soloists for their outstanding performances!
