Arne Zeller

Arne Zeller has been particularly fortunate to have had exceptional cello teachers since starting the cello at the age of six, who guided and supported him at various stages of learning.

The first significant milestone in Arne’s cello career occurred when he was twelve, winning the 1st national prize in the “Jugend musiziert” competition in 2019. This achievement was followed by the honor of receiving a historic cello from the German Musikleben Foundation. In the same year, he secured a 3rd prize at the international Dotzauer Competition for young cellists in Dresden, where he had the pleasure of meeting his future teacher, Professor Peter Bruns, for the first time.

In early 2020, Arne was awarded the first prize in the Anna Kull Competition in Graz, which opened the door to the International Music Academy Liechtenstein. Since then, he has had the privilege of participating in fantastic masterclasses. Another noteworthy moment in 2020 was his solo debut, performing Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations with the Sinfonietta Worms.

Being accepted into the national Youth Orchestra of Germany and embarking on a wonderful first tour with the LGT Young Soloists in 2021 marked additional special moments in Arne Zeller’s career. Notably, he continued his chamber music endeavors with a piano trio under the guidance of Professor Susanne Stoodt, even during the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The most significant highlight to date occurred when Arne was accepted into the renowned class of Professor Peter Bruns at the HMT Leipzig as a junior student at the age of fourteen. Additionally, he was honored with the 10th “Lichtenberger Musikpreis” in 2022, further affirming his dedication to and achievements in the field of music.
