To awaken a young audience’s enthusiasm for classical music – the well-known television presenter Malte Arkona and the LGT Young Soloists showed how it’s done.
Any concert hall regular is accustomed to an audience that is knowledgeable, but generally elderly. The LGT Young Soloists are trying to ensure that classical music does not lose its next generation of listeners. On November 11, 2018, they played to a sold-out house at the famous Philharmonie in Luxembourg. The next day, the young string players took the time to give another concert for local school children. As one can see on the photograph, the enthusiasm was huge. The next generation of classical music lovers is definitely growing up right now!
