In the 70 minutes of their concert, the LGT Young Soloists offered a “breath-taking musical spectacle”. The programme included an Orchestra Suite by the Swedish composer Kurt Atterberg (1887-1974), a Serenade for String Orchestra by Dag Wirén (1905-1986) and the Serenade for Viola and Strings by the Norwegian Edvard Bræin (1924-1976). As one music critic stated, these Nordic pearls far exceeded expectations.
