Anyone arriving or traveling through Zurich Airport since the beginning of the year has likely come across the LGT Young Soloists.
LGT, the soloists’ main sponsor, has dedicated its latest display window at Zurich Airport to its soloists. A highly fitting location, seeing as travel is part of everyday life for the young talents. They are often alone when they travel. Which makes it all the nicer when they unexpectedly run into old acquaintances.
Silas Zschokke, violist in the ensemble, did not, however, expect to suddenly be standing in front of a life-size image of himself while he was “on the way home”. On facebook he wrote: thanks for this nice surprise after a great week of recordings with the LGT Young Soloists!
