A Highlight at the Start of the Year: From 4 to 7 January 2017 the LGT Young Soloists are recording their second CD, “Russian Soul”. Like their first, it will appear on Sony’s Red Label. While the debut album, “Italian Journey”, was a virtuoso trip through an Italian repertoire from the 18th to the 20th century, in the forthcoming recording the young soloists take their listeners on a profound journey through the Russian soul. Love, inner torment, light and shade – the LGT Young Soloists capture the great moments of Russian composers with their young yet mature musical empathy.
